I have specialised in taking yoga and mindfulness to teenagers with TeenYoga, the only Yoga Alliance registered teenage yoga training in the UK.
The training was developed by Charlotta Martinus in association with the Psychology Department at Leeds University. TeenYoga is designed to help alleviate stress among teens and help them have a healthier and more joyful life. The programme includes fun, experimental postures, breathing exercises especially for their situation and deep relaxation .

“Some people may think Yoga is relaxing. Physically it is quite the opposite but mentally it does relax my mind and make me feel positive, especially after a hard day at school or a hard day revising. Physically it is quite hard work at times but worth it. Some positions I find harder than others. I have noticed my core stability and strength have improved since taking up yoga. I would recommend teens participated in yoga for the reasons I have benefitted from, positive thinking, and strength improvement. I don’t personally suffer with stress or anxiety but I can see how it could help teens and adults who do. Thank you for the classes I attend.”
